Team GO Rocket's Leaders and their Boss Giovanni added to the game

A while ago Professor Willow found some strange files on his computer that seemingly had to do with Team GO Rocket. When he was able to uncover some of those files, there were some figures visible. There is now more progress about this in the game! As Team GO Rocket's Leaders Cliff, Sierra and Arlo, as well as the Team GO Rocket Boss Giovanni are now in the game. They're using some new kind of technology to conceal the locations of their hideouts so that they can't be easily found.

Professor Willow has been hard at work together with the Team Leaders Blanche, Spark and Candela to develop devices that counter Team GO Rocket's tech. We are now asked to go out and explore the world around us, to battle the Team GO Rocket Leaders and to find and defeat Giovanni.

A new Special Research quest line has been added to the game where we team up with Professor Willow and Leaders Blanche, Spark and Candela to find the Team GO Rocket Leaders Cliff, Sierra and Arlo and eventually Giovanni as well. This Special Research quest is called "Looming in the Shadows" and consists of 6 steps, all featuring regular activities and activities involving Team GO Rocket and Shadow Pokémon.
