Fortnite had a pretty big update

So i thought i give it another try. I played the "old" Fortnite Battle Royal quite a bit and always tought that, while it was awesome, the map lacked character and charm.

But as you can see here, they made quite an effort to change that.
Not only did they added biomes, which you can identify by the different colors on the new map, but they also added brand new locations to loot and destroy. Also they fine tuned drop rates so the new map does not feel unbalanced.

While it definitely doesn't transform the game completely, what it does is giving the game a new wind, a fresh touch and feel to it. Now you can use the biomes as an advantage, or find yourself at a disadvantage because of them.

Being hunted by a sniper? Run toward the swamp biome where a lot of trees are.
It adds a nice new layer of tactic to it. So if you haven't gave it a try, now is the best time for it.
