Solitaire On EOS - Time for some crypto skill gaming
Solitaire and crypto !? About time !!!
Ive been playing skill based games for quite a few years on sites such as:
Gameduell
Royalgames
These were and are fun ways to make a bit of cash, if your a card game player and slightly addicted to freecell or solitaire !
Why its taken this long to get card these types of card game in to crypto is a bit of a mystery to me. They are a perfect fit.
- Solitaire Duel on EOS, puts you in a random 1 vs 1 game, each playing the same game. Its randomly picks the opponent and randomly chooses if you are playing a 1 card turning game or a 3 card turning game.
Id like to be able to choose which version of the game I played, as your game play alters for each slightly differently, but its all very basic at the moment.
Tips
The best and worst part of thee games being played on the blockchain is that they can be re-run side by side to see how you compared. Learn to suck up the pain of loosing and reply a few key matches. It'll help you adjust your play.
PC Players are against mobile users.
Shrink your screen down (Ctrl -) so that there is less distance to move the cursor, from card to card.
Start on the cheapest games until you have warmed up, then move up to the better games until you feel you are missing to many opportunities.
The easiest way to loose is missing cards that can stack, that are already on the table. Its easy to over look them when you are turning cards over at light speed.
Don't be afraid to exit early ! Those seconds saved on turning more cards in the hope of finding a new one could win the game.
Undo is your friend ;-)
A tap is quicker than a drag for aces and stacking cards.
I'm hoping they will introduce more skill games and some tournaments, to help round out the offering, I think its still early days for them.
Hopefully it'll only a matter of time until we see many more developers making skill games on the blockchain.
