Defence of the Ancients 2 - more commonly known as Dota 2 is a free to play MOBA available on Steam released by Valve in 2013.
The game itself has a long history dating back to 2002 with the first Dota being a mod released for the Blizzard game Warcraft 3. The Game mode was created by a player and modder named IceFrog as well as a handful of other players and developers, Icefrog has become a symbol even in modern Dota 2 communities even though many of the current players do not know of Icefrog's initial role with the creation of the game.

Dota 2, pits 10 players (In standard game modes) against each other on two factions: The Radiant and The Dire.
The mission in game is destroy the opponents Ancient which is basically the opposing teams base consisting of many different structures that form their base. Each player will choose a hero from a selection of 113 total hero's available in the hero pool.
Each hero having their own unique skills and abilities that allow for a large amount of versatility from hero to hero. however heros are generally separated by the role that they play in game - "Carry" is a position that focuses on dealing damage to enemy players and buildings, Players who play "carry" hero's are generally credited for winning games on the other hand we have "support" hero's, these heroes often have skills which can greatly help their team and can even turn the tide of team fights by using powerful abilities known as ultimate's.

The Con's:

In my personal opinion Dota 2's biggest problem lies with the actual players - the very community that plays and enjoys the game. The reason for this is because there are very few players who are accommodating to newer players, this becomes very difficult to deal with learning the game when other players hurl discouraging insults at you all game long purely because you are new and don't really have a full understanding of the game and its mechanics. If new players manage to persevere through this phase it unfortunately does not get much better, Once you progress into higher skill brackets and start playing with people of a higher skill level, the community sadly does not become any more accepting, with a lot of players then competing to be the better than everyone else, this leads to a bit of an elitist attitude that ultimately says "I'm better than you and you suck so stop playing Dota" all this together leads to a highly dissatisfying experience overall.

The Pro's:

With all this being said though the game itself is immensely fun and when played with the right people and the right friends it can be a mentally challenging and stimulating experience. The thrill of being the player who picks up a crucial item in game or a crucial kill and ultimately leads to your teams victory couldn't be greater and the mental challenge of speed and skill creates a highly challenging and thrill induced match! On top of that Valve is constantly adding to the game in the form of updates and changes and the games also allows users to create custom games modes known as arcade games which in my experience are usually a ton of fun! Dota 2 is also one of the world largest E-sports games which means if you're into watching the pro's play, they'll have you up and off your seat screaming in excitement!

What are some of your opinion's on Dota 2?💩

The con's surely is bad, I've met people like that. But the pro's great indeed. I think playing online with your whole squad is the best thing that could happen lol

That's very true. Assuming your whole squad wants to play. But queuing solo is rough 😂
