And its another wonderful day here, and as usual, i bring to you another game review.... But this time around, something out of the ordinary, because i am sure this game is not overly common, but i can assure you that this game rocks well for me as it is easy to play and practically requires no experience.

NAIJA WHOT is exactly like the normal WHOT game that all of us are familiar with, yes you read well.

The amazing thing about this game is that it has some features that even you wont believe that an android game of such would have.

GENERAL REVIEW

This game is an exiting game that is built for people of different age as it is easy to play. Like a normal card game we are all familiar with, it is made up of 54card of which includes the following shapes:

• Circle
• Star
• Triangle
• Square
• Cross
• WHOT

The game has 3 Distinct options in which you can select from and then play and enjoy yourself with either your friends and family or the robot.

The screenshot below shows the 3stages i am talking about.

Going by that picture above, you will see the following options in which you can choose from:

• Quick play
• Tournament
• Multiplayer

QUICK PLAY

This options allow you to play with a single robot, lets just say you are playing against a single opponent in real life, i believe you have idea what i am talking about.

TOURNAMENT

This is the option i love most as it allows you play against 3other robots in a competition that is likened to an elimination sort of. With this option, the 4 of you would be on the game board and you will play your cards the best way you can, but usually, it is advised to play the highest number of cards first just in case if someone checks up and you will have to be forced to tender and then the person with the highest number of cards loose the round and the rest continues till a winner emerge.

The part that thrills me most is that, if you loose without making it to the finals, you will be forced to watch the rest of the players play till a winner emerges. Weird but sweet right?

MULTIPLAYER

This option allows you to play with your friends that have the game installed on their phones, to use this option, all you need is an additional phone that will be used as the HOST in which the players will connect go its hotspot and then you are good to go... Its not like its going to use data so fear not.

HOW TO PLAY

Like every WHOT game, the technique is quite easy but for the starters, the game is played either by the corresponding NUMBER or SYMBOL.

A card is said to be valid if:

• It is the same number as the card played by your opponent

• It is the same symbol as the card played by your opponent

• **it is WHOT the WHOT can be likened to a Crown sort of, when a player plays the WHOT card, he is entitled to request for any SYMBOL of his choice in which the opponent is to provide, go to the market or plays another WHOT symbol card.

If you look at the GIF above keenly, you will understand better as i made use of some of those special cards during the course of the game.

RULES

Yeah, this game has some rules, Basic rules actually, and those rules are applied to some set of numbers. These set or card numbers have special effects or influence on the game, depending on the number of players involved.

The set of numbers and effects are as follows:

1 (HOLD ON): When a card that has the number 1 is played, the player is allowed to play again in ( Quick play) while the next player is skipped in (Tournament)

2 (PICK TWO): When a card that has the number 2 is played, the next player must either play the same number of card (in defence) or pick 2card from the stock pile, other wise known as MARKET.

5 (PICK THREE): When a card that has the number 5 is played the next player must either play the same number of card (in defence) or pick 3cards from the stock pile otherwise known as MARKET.

8 (SUSPENSION): This one is similar to HOLD ON, the only difference is that in Quick play, the opponent misses a turn and in Tournament, all the players misses a turn

14 (GENERAL MARKET): All players except the person that plays the card with number 14 picks a card each from the stock pile otherwise known as MARKET

So in other to play your best in WHOT game on the android and even in real life generally, you need some strategies, so lets go over the strategies now.

STRATEGIES

Like i said above, the game requires some strategies and it stretches beyond just striking any card with same number or symbol to win. As a matter of fact, it requires you to be tactical and also to be able to calculate and arrange your cards properly.

Below are some of the tips i have used over time and as always worked:

• Strike with your special card when your opponent is about to win, i mean when your opponent has less than 4 cards.

• Try as much as possible to reserve and arrange your special cards (1, 2, 5, 8, 14) sequentially in such a way that you can flush them out at ones and win the game.

• This is the ultimate strategy. In TOURNAMENT do not reserve any card and then, always plays card with the highest numbers first. Do not play to WIN but play to SURVIVE unless you are in the final stage.
