Escape From Tarkov

Escape From Tarkov is a tactical hardcore and realistic first-person shooter with MMO elements and a story-driven walkthrough. The game is being developed by BattleState Games for PC and possibly a Mac version as well. There's an alpha version available if you're interested.

The events in Escape From Tarkov take place in 2028 in the fictional Norvinsk's region. Tarkov, one of the largest cities in the region, a giant private corporation called Terra Group becomes the center of a political scandal that escalates into an armed conflict involving several parties, including two private military companies. The conflict results in the region's borders being sealed off and isolated from the outside world.

Action Gameplay

Tarkov's local population flee the city, which is know overrun by different armed groups. The player starts by choosing one of the two mercenary organisations — USEC or BEAR. After that the player has to make his way out of a chaos-ridden city, making his own choices and trying to survive other players and armed gangs.

Inventory and Looting Sneak Peak

With an attractive interface, the inventory and the loot system are looking very interesting. Items don't appear instantly when you loot someone's corpse, instead you have to search each backpack, pouch or pocket to reveal the items, and the search is timed, not instant.

Theres also a weapon modification option for each weapon to upgrade your weapons with compatible parts you might find.

As I mentioned above, the game is still in Closed Alpha, but its possible to pre-purchase a digital copy of the game or apply for a Closed Beta participation on the website.
