Suggest any screen recorder for pc?
Hello Steemit some days ago I bought minecraft for pc to play online, and today we went to a game store and bought plants vs zombies garden warfare 2 for pc, and I would really like to have some program to record my pc screen and make some awesome videos about this awesome games.

I was using https://obsproject.com/ back when I streamed. It works for recording as well. Just make sure your parent's are okay with you uploading videos.

I know Nvidia supposedly released one as well, but I haven't messed with it and I think I heard something about it having a fee or subscription like xplit or whatever. OBS is completely functional and learning how to use the plugins I was able to do anything for streaming the others would require. The only thing I felt it lacked was editing software, but maybe you know of some good free or open source editing they could use.
Been thinking about streaming for some time but haven't gotten around to it yet - hopefully soon, the e-sports people would love to use a platform that eliminates middle-men like paypal with their growing transaction fees.
Yeah, they also have a really awesome setting that let's you use your GPU for encoding so your PC will lag a lot less then the old usual ways when it used the CPU.
I used to be pretty serious into the Counter Strike scene. It took a gtx 970 to stream CSGO and run a lightboost 175-180 fps. I don't know how anyone was streaming it before the 900 series on any kind of reasonable budget. The 600 series and 700 series would have probably needed 3-way sli to even pull those numbers. I haven't been gaming for a bit now, but I still get the urge to look at the specs for the 1070 and 1080 every now and then lol.
I went AMD for a few years just for the extra mining - but the lack of support on their products and updates is a real turn-off compared to the flawless Nvidias nowadays.
Doesn't surprise me Nvidia is still doing so much better than AMD - even though miners keep stacking their GPU's in basements.
hello i allready had obs but it doesnt work when i make a video afterwords i cant even see it
You have to go into the settings and set it to record and save to your computer. There are different versions of OBS, but on mine you go to settings then pick "broadcast settings", and check off "automatically save stream to file" and pick where you want it to go.

hola loreennaa, ya use una vez la version gratis de esta aplicacion pero ya no la puedo uyilizar
si te instalas una versión mas reciente puedes volver a usarla por 30 días
donde instalo la version reciente @loreennaa?
yo uso softonic pero tienes que usar la instalación manual para quitarte todos los programas que te quiere meter, si no te pueden entrar virus.
si no mírate la web oficial a ver si la versión es la mas reciente, es la primera web que te sale en google poniendo camtasia studio
mira ya he instalado otra version he creado otra cuenta he descargado todo bien y dice que se ha acabado el periodo de prueba en las otras versiones, como es eso?
primero tienes que desinstalar el antiguo para que parezca que nunca instalaste uno, tienes que ir a panel de control y desinstalar programa

OBS is your best bet and its free. :) Good luck kiddow.
Check out http://camstudio.org/ it's free and for that quite good. You can always edit your recordings with something like MS movie maker (or similar) afterwards. As for settings, games (in fullscreen) are generally recognized as "overlay screens", make sure to set your software accordingly.
btw, suggesting Camstudio for recordings only. If you want to stream you want a different application.
