Final Fantasy VII Remake is now exactly two months away! The demo of the game was playable at some events before, but there was no information since its leak from PSN website in December.

Just yesterday, in the official Twitter channel, Square Enix announced that the demo of Final Fantasy VII will be playable at PAX East 2020. From the 27th of February to the 1st of March.

Final Fantasy VII Remake release have been delayed 5 weeks to the 10th of April, and so did its exclusivity to Sony for a year after that.

The first part of the Remake will cover Midgar city only.
The latest trailer showed scenes not in the original.

The demo features the opening mission of the game, in which Cloud, Barret and the other members of AVALANCHE shut down one of Shinra's Mako Reactors up until the first boss of the game. This means that the demo features Cloud and Barret as playable characters.

I won't be able to attend the event, but I'm excited for the demo and the game when it'll get released. I plan on buying it day 1, and that's something I haven't done in years!

We don't know if the demo be will be released to public, but since it was uploaded to PSN in December there's a good chance that it'll be downloadable to everyone sometime in the future.

I hope it becomes available for download sometime in March.

What do you think?
