SEA OF THIEVES: A GOLDEN TAX IN CASE OF DEATH IS PLANNED

in #gaming6 years ago

Available for just three days, Sea of Thieves has already enlisted more than one million hackers worldwide. A nice figure for this title which benefits in particular from the Microsoft Game Pass and which remains at the moment one of the spearheads of its Xbox One.

Despite this great success, some players remain skeptical of some mechanics of gameplay that had already been pointed at the test phases before the release. First, we find death that is considered too punitive by the most critical. A complaint heard by the developers of Rare who have updated the section "Future updates" of its site.

We now find the "Cost of Death" feature that will take us some gold coins in case of death. As explained, the amount collected will depend on the cause of your death, the more it was avoidable, the more it will cost you dearly. Note, however, the last line of the note: "We never intended to charge the players for deaths related to the PVP since we understand the negative impact it would have on the player's experience." For now, we do not know when this feature will be added.
