Hi guys! Hope all is well. Today I come again as your one and only badass game review king….lol. Today I will be reviewing one of the special game out the “Dead Effect” for you guys to learn, download and enjoy.

Dead Effect is a first-person shooter game that was developed by BadFly Interactive and released on October 2013. In-app purchase was later introduced in 2014. It has over 5,000,000+ downloads with over 15 top class objectives. The player gets to unlock new weapons has you accomplish each of this missions.

Plot

The game revolves around the character named “Jane Grey” who woke up in a space ship full of zombies. With a mission to discover how a well-planned mission got bad and how the crew got infected including her. She discovered with the help of a computer that she had woken up too early. With the help of a doctor from the laboratory she got to learn how the virus came about. Later she discovered that the doctor from the laboratory has been lying all along as he was the brain behind the virus outbreak. When the doctor learnt that his secret has been expose he infected himself and tried to kill her. But Jane Grey escaped and pledge to track the doctor down and kill him which she later did.

GamePlay

As a first-person shooter game, the movement of the character is displayed virtually on the screen of your mobile device with the joystick to the left and the combat button to the right. Dead Effect features three different modes. Survival mode, Biohazard mode and story mode. In survival mode dedicated amount of time is given to the player for survival, and the mission is to kill and destroy as many zombies as possible. In story mode the character gets to be a male or female antagonist with over 12 different objective to be accomplished. Which include locating some hidden codes for access to door and destroying zombie villains. Each objectives comes with a boss whom you will be required to destroy in other to move forward. Each objectives come with a juicy reward to help replenish the characters health. In the Biohazard mode is require to kill some group of zombies.

Graphics

BadFly Interactive did a great job when it came to the graphics aspect of the game as the player gets to see the zombies clearly with blood around their mouth. Every little details of Dead Effect is well simplified with good environmental display of great structures. The graphics build up is the most important aspect of any game. Most times you get to feel as if the zombies are real as the attack you with their claws.

Sound

The sound aspect of Dead Effect is very intense. You get to listen to great sound while destroying your zombie enemies. Sound from gunshot are well heard and no over lapping with the background music. This can be toggled on or off in the settings menu that’s if you get to scared....lol

Controls

Just like any shooter game, the controls of Dead Effect is self-explanatory as it is display with a layman symbols. You get to move with the joystick being situated at the left side of your screen and you get to fire with the buttons to your right. Everything can be seen clearly as they are displayed on your mobile screen virtually.

Likes

I like the combat aspect of the game as it proofs to be more challenging when facing the boss. The graphic, sound and controls of the game cannot be left out as it is the most important part of the game. The game play of Dead Effect is awesome with great 3D animation.

Dislike

i dislike the fact that the game is only a single-player mode game. I wish the developers will introduce a multi-player mode as I can’t wait to challenge my friend to the battle.
