Brothers in Aims 3: sons of War. Game review

Hi buddies! I hope you guys are doing great. It’s your humble steemian @abasifreke and am so happy to be among you guys. Today my review will be based on a third-person shooter game which sets is story back to the time of World War II “Brothers in Aims 3: sons of War’.

Before we begin, if you will like to read my previous review click and thank me later.

Storyline

Brothers in Aims 3: sons of War is a classic game developed by Gameloft in December 17, 2014. It is a third-person shooter game which revolves around world war 11. It serves as a follow-up for the Brothers in aims series. Brothers in Aims 3 starts with the major character “Sergeant Cole wright”, documenting his battle memories. He was given a mission alongside his squad in France to retrieve a vital document from an enemy’s territory. Though the mission was a success, one of the squad member “Jacob Hall” was neutralized by a sniper during and escape from the mission area. Sergeant Cole was given another objective a month later to retrieve a hostage by name Rachelle Dubois. During the objective period Sergeant Cole was able to locate and retrieve Rachelle Dubois and they both became lovers.

Cole had a memory of him in a mission in Italy. He and his squad members were sent to retrieve a file. With a secondary objective to eliminate a notorious general Karl Herst, the commanding officer of that zone. The mission wasn’t a success as the general wasn’t neutralized. Later they were given an order to disrupt and eliminate a convoy from entering France. Which was a success.
Before that event they were given orders to retrieve an information from a deadly camp which will help in more rescue objectives. The mission wasn’t a success as no information was found. However they were able to capture a notorious general by name Alder, with the hope to interrogate for information. In 1942 Cole was captured during an objective and the rescue officer was Sam Foster. Later Cole’s squad was sent to hunt Foster down because he was a mole. After tracking him to Belgium, Sam Foster was eliminated by Cole regardless of being his savior during captivity.

Cole and his team mate were later sent to Germany to neutralize a weapon from being launched. The mission was a success as they were able to dismantle the weapons, and preventing them from being launched. The commanding officer to Cole “Major Bastion”, has successfully tracked Herst the general that got away in France. He was discovered on his way to Denmark. Cole and his squad were able to stop Herst convoy and during the battle Cole killed Herst but escaping the scene that was field with explosive Cole got badly injured and he died.

Gameplay

The game play of Brothers in Aims 3: sons of War is not really different from other third-person game play as the character gets to perform all the necessary moves and controls ranging from the ability to use grenades and fire heavy weapons through the virtually situated buttons of the mobile screen.
With access to new features like upgrading of characters to suit your style of play. More weapons have been added to the inventory such as pistols, shotguns, rifles, sniper, assault rifle, rocket launchers and knives. With a side mission feature being added, more ammunitions can be unlocked. The game offers a brother in the beginning of the game and you get to unlock more as you play further.

Brothers are your team mates who assist in battling enemies and each of them can be upgraded with required medals. You can call on your squad mate for rocket blast, Molotov, Mortar fire or an Air strike. Being a multiplayer game it has team Deathmatch and free for all. With varieties of missions to choose from Assault, Siege, Sniper and Stealth.

Controls

The controls of Brothers in Aims 3: sons of War is virtually presented on the screen with the joystick for the character movement on the left and the combat button to the right. It is easy to control as you get to see the button on your screen with a layman’s symbols which can be easily understood by a child of 16+. The control of the game is well design to fit on a screen of any mobile device and with easy access.

Graphics

When it comes to Gameloft, in my opinion they have the best graphic games. Most of the Gameloft developed games are well designed from gun fire display down to the burning of it aesthetics environment. Everything thing including the weapons and the outfit of both the antagonist and the squad mate were neatly designed. The environment looks so real that most time I feel I am the character in the game. The graphics of the game is just too perfect.

Sounds

The sound and music in Brothers in Aims 3: sons of War is very moderate as you can choose to listen to the sound or you may choose to toggle it off. You get to hear every sound when it comes to the game especially from different weapons.

Likes

I enjoyed the great 3D animation of the game everything was neatly designed from graphics, controls and even the sounds. It’s a wonderful game that I can’t stay without.

Dislikes

If you have played the game you will notice that some mission require a particular weapon and this weapon is unlocked as you play through missions and you will need to buy the weapons with BIA currency. And the upgrade to a weapon takes both currency and money. This feature is not cool for me. I hope they change it in their coming version.

Brothers in Aims 3: Sons of War is one of the best third-person shooter game out the with lots of intense mission to play and ease boredom. The graphics, controls and sound is a great part of this game that shouldn’t be overlooked. Brothers in Aims 3: sons of War has a lot to offer.
