Life Is Strange: How To Save Kate

MAJOR spoilers for those who have not played Life Is Strange
I thought I would make this post for people who may not know, or may want to know how to save Kate.
Some of you may of not know that you can save Kate from killing herself in episode 2. I am here to help you.

1. Side with her though out the game.
   When you're leaving campus to meet Warren, you will encounter David bullying Kate.
   
   Intervene, these steps make it easier to save her, I will go over the difficult way, so hang tight.

2. When you go to Kate's room to return her book, she will talk to you. If you stepped in, she will ask why you did that. If you DID NOT step in when David bullied her, she will be angry with you, tell her you wanted proof of David bullying her.
   She will ask you if she should go to the police, or to get proof, if you tell her go to poilce, that is another step to make it easier to save her, if you say get proof, she will be upset with you, remember, your actions when she tries to kill herself will be mentioned.
   

3. before you and Chloe leave for the diner, you will get a call from Kate, Chloe will try to convince you to ignore the call, because she wants to leave before Joyce argues with her. if you answer, you're another step closer. When you are at the junk yard, Kate will text you, if you answered, she will thank you, if you didn't, she will be upset and say you were too busy to help her.
   

4. Now this is for all the marbles. When you are heading to class, you will see Jefferson talking to Kate, then she will walk away crying. When you follow her, she will tell you to leave her alone. When class starts, a kid ( I forgot who) will interrupt Jefferson's class, and everyone will crowd seeing Kate about to jump, get to the roof.

So. If you did not intervene when David hassled Kate, she will mention it, be sure to tell her you wanted proof that David harassed her. If you told her to look for proof, she will mention it, be sure to tell her you are gathering evidence. if you did not answer Kate when she called you, tell her your phone was on silent/or dead. if you say you were with Chloe, she probably will jump. Kate will say " I am in a nightmare and I can't wake up, unless I put myself back to sleep" make sure you say, "stay strong" saying anything else will make her jump.

Here is a side note, you will know you picked the wrong speech when Kate backs closer to the edge, you are on thin ice at this point, and you MUST be careful.
Max will say "please you don't have to do this" and you will have the option to say "sisters" "mother" "Dad" and "brothers"
DO NOT pick her mother or brothers, her mom despises her and she doesn't have brothers. SHE WILL JUMP if you pick those options, pick her sisters or her dad, and you will save. Her. Not out of the woods yet.
if you did not side with Kate at all in the game, you will have to recite the bible. PICKING THE WRONG VERSE WILL MAKE HER JUMP. "suicide is a sin" will be there. SHE WILL JUMP IF YOU SAY THAT. Make sure to pick the Mathew verse.

Congrats, you saved Kate, make sure you follow my instructions, if you did not side with Kate at all, you really need to make sure you follow these directions!
