Piko Interactive Releasing New Nintendo NES Games
It is almost like the Nintendo Entertainment System was not a commercially dead platform considering all the new games seeing release for it lately. Piko Interactive is one such company to bring support to Nintendo’s first console. They have three new Nintendo NES games that are now available for pre-order.
The titles in this pre-order campaign will begin shipping on April 15th 2019 so please be patient when ordering your favorites.
First up is Little Lancelot which was originally a PAL region only release. Piko have reworked the story so that it is more interesting for gamers from other regions of the world.
Why it rocks
Little Valiant features many gameplay genres, though the main focus is platforming, so keeping your interest should not be a problem.
Next we have Exploding Fist. This cannot be farther from the two other NES games that Piko is bringing out. Here you are tasked with working your way up the levels of training to Tenth Dan. Can you survive and complete this goal?
Why it rocks
Martial arts titles have always been a staple of gaming since the early days of gaming. This is also one of many unreleased titles that Piko has rescued from history and time itself. Unlike Working Designs though, there has been no “current events” added to these releases.
Bringing the new NES games to a close is Pyramids of Ra, a puzzle title. The challenge here is you must complete each level in a style that Q*Bert players will be more than a little familiar with.

There are over 10,000 levels! This is also the finished version of Scarabeus with new features added.

I am leaning towards Little Lancelot as I have never heard of that title, even back in the day, I don’t remember reading about it in the pages of publications such as Game Pro or Video Games & Computer Entertainment. Ah, those were the days.
