Hitman Sniper Temporarily Free on Google Play
Hitman Sniper has gone temporarily free on Google Play. If you are in the mood for more action like Contract Killer Sniper, then you are going to want to grab this one. There seem to be a few differences between the two though.
Contract Killer Sniper offered quite a bit more than just sniper missions while Hitman Sniper seems to focus solely on solo “one shot, one kill” missions. Also, Glu Mobile’s game offered players things to do other than just shooting and upgrading weapons with a base to manage – a quick look at Square Enix’s game doesn’t reveal anything of this sort. Maybe something similar opens later in the game?
Both games offer In App Purchases, the difference being in Hitman Sniper and there normally being a $0.99 entry fee on top of that. At least Glu Mobile’s Contract Killer Sniper is free upfront and if you grind, completely free to play.
I am not knocking Hitman Sniper, I will do a review later. I am just not a fan of charging an entry fee then having In App Purchases on top of that. Just seems like a slap in the face to fans.
One thing that Hitman Sniper does better than Contract Killer Sniper is some of the environments in Square Enix’s game are destructible. From ice sculptures to glass windows, if you put a bullet through it, it is going to blow up. This is very rare in Contract Killer Sniper.

Big fan of hitman franchise. They dropped the ball by going more fps in the last console version but man do I love the pre-plan strategy and then pulling off clean contratcts. Rewarding. Might check this one out or fire up the ps2 :)
They certainly have taken the Hitman franchise all over the place including a turn based strategy and this sniper game. I wonder how long before we get a Tetris style puzzle game or a kart racer starring characters from the Hitman franchise (or Square Enix in general)?

Oh yeah, have you played Lara Croft Go or Deus Ex Go yet? They are basically all the same, just different enemies and graphics, still a great series that is an original take on some classics.
Deusex go. Damn no I haven't but will definitely check that one out. I never really got into tomb raider but I see the appeal, just never dove in.
I grabbed DEG because it was a buck. Haven't played it much yet.
