We had advertising in our faces with television but for the most part, when gamers were near a television, it was not to watch TV. lol We also had word of mouth and of course there was that one idiot that thought everything was the bomb. Every school had one.
Yeah but gaming then had no room for "TV" it was turn on channel 3 or 4 and click the NES power button and go go go! haha
Exactly. Not many of us back then had more than one television so it was gaming or TV. As gamers, it was easy to understand that gaming would win almost every time.
