I have fond memories of this game. I always remember that billboard with the topless woman that would squash you if you walked under it.
It is odd that this game never received any ports, and the only way to play it is through emulation, unless you happen to have the original hardware or an actual machine of this game in your area. It was a solid game in the beat em up genre that's mostly been forgotten.
This is why emulation is important. Without it, games like this would eventually just vanish.
Exactly. It is quite odd. I can only guess that Konami didn't want to muddy the home ports of TMNT or something. It could also be because by the time capable hardware was prominent in the home Crime Fighters was old and no longer eligible for a home port (if it ever was).
I agree with you about emulation. Without it, titles like Crime Fighters would be lost ever reaching oblivion as another arcade board dies till there are none left.
