Games: Chicken Foot
Chicken Foot is an easy game to learn and a fun game to play. During my last trip to Houston to see family, we played the game with my 102 year old grandmother. I'm not at all embarrassed to say the she beat the pants off of me. I wasn't even close.
The game uses the same kind of dominoes used to play Mexican Train(also a fun game).

Doubles are good because you can get rid of 2 tiles in one round and then force the next two players to close your 'chicken foot'. After playing the double 8 tile I'd have had the follow up 8 - 9 tile (I could have also played the 8 - 5 tile, but you want to get rid of the tiles with the highest number of dots first if possible.
Everybody Starts with 14 tiles. If you can't play a tile, you have to draw one. These can be immediately played it it works out.
The game starts with the 12-12 tile and with each successive round, the next lower double tile will be played. 12-12, 11-11, 10-10, etc. Here we were on round 8. You can see that the double has 3 8s going off from each side. At the start of each round, players must play the current matching numbers of the main double tile until there are 6 toes on each chicken foot. Players continue to draw new tiles until the rounds 'double' tile is found and played in the middle..
Round 7
DON'T GET STUCK WITH THE DOUBLE BLANK TILE. This will cost you big time. Get rid of this tile or 50 points will be added to your score this round.
Depending on the speed of game-play, this game will take about an hour to two hours to play.
I finished pretty poorly both times I've played this game, so I won't attempt to give you any strategy tips. I will say that we all had a ball playing it and will likely break it out again every now and again.

She'll even talk trash as she's beating us.
Picturing that makes me actual lol
I did not know that this type of domino existed. The one I know arrives only until 6 and is known as sow. In addition The pieces are not placed on the sides. This is totally unknown to me.
I don't know how to play this game
