The Games We Played as Kids: Hand-Clapping Games Edition

I learned my first hand-clapping game when I was on Kinder! It was high-fiving with your co-player in both hands, then clapping you hands, then repeat again. The following are the hand-clapping games we usually play when we were children:
1. Nanay, Tatay
The chant goes like this:
This game is played like the usual hand clapping but upon reaching the chant of counting, the number of claps should correspond with the number counted. The one who makes mistakes will be pinched(usually in the ear).Nanay, Tatay (Father, Mother)
Gusto kong tinapay. (I want bread)
Ate, Kuya (Sister, Brother)
Gusto kong kape (I want coffee)
Lahat ng gusto ko ay susundin niyo (You'll follow everything I want)
Ang magkamali ay pipingutin ko. (I will pinch the ones who makes mistakes)
Isa, Dalawa, Tatlo...
2. Do dodo Me
This clapping game was said to be a game that should only be played during a funeral. This game can actually be a truth-or-dare game. It is played with player's(1) right hand placed on the left hand of another player(2) on his right. Contrariwise, the player's(1) left hand hold the right hand of the player(3) on his left. Thus, forming a circle. The game starts when the chant begins. Any player can initiate the game by tapping the hand he's holding on his left . This is better played with 3 to 6 persons. The game ends when the chant ends. And whoever counts 10 should tap the hand of the next player in order to win. Otherwise, he who failed to tap the next player will get the punishment.Do dodo me, dodo me, Mayo
Mesi ay, Mesi ay, Mesi ay Mayo.
Count to the number
One, Two... Ten
3. Chiki-chiki Bam
Chiki, chiki Bam is a bubble gum.
Masarap ito at malinamnam. (This is delicious and tasty.)
Bumili kayo sa tindahan, (Buy it from the shop)
Chiki, chiki Bam is a bubble gum.
Another version goes like this,
Chiki, chiki Bam is a bubble gum.
Masarap ito at malinamnam. (This is delicious and tasty.)
Bumili kayo sa tindahan, (Buy it from the shop)
Kina Kano, tig-piso lang. (Kano sells it for 1-peso only.)
This is truly just a fun hand clapping game for two people with no consequence or punishment (usually). The hand clap goes like this. The players join their hands together and bump the back of the palms with each other towards the left, then to the right. Another bump to the left but this time stops in the middle where player 1's left hand is back-to-back with the player 2's left hand. They hit their left hand using their right, then clap it with the other player's hand above their suspended hands then clap back to their own hand (still hanging against the each other's hand). Clap with each other below it then move their left down under the right hand. This will sequence will be continued while getting faster and faster. The ones who can't keep up loses.
The aforementioned version of Chiki-chiki Bam is what I remember. However, there are other variety of Chiki-chiki Bam played all over the Philippines. It's also called Chippy-chippy Bam by others. You can check one of the variant of the game here.4. Bahay Kubo
This is another amusing clapping game that uses the classic hand clapping style. The only twist is the changing of the player you'll clap with. Four (4) players are required to execute the game.Bahay kubo, kahit munti
Ang halaman doon ay sari-sari.
Singkamas at talong, sigarilyas at mani
Sitaw, bataw, patani.
Kundol, patola, upo’t kalabasa
At saka mayroon pang labanos, mustasa,
sibuyas, kamatis, bawang at luya
sa paligid-ligid ay puro linga.
5. My name is...
My name is Pooh, Pooh
A Piccolo, a Piccolo
Chinese, Japanese,
Jelly-jelly fish, Gold fish
Miga ta. Di ta miga. (We are friends. We are not friends.)
Nganuman? Basta lang. (Why? Just because.)
(Faster)
Miga ta. Di ta miga. (We are friends. We are not friends.)
Nganuman? Basta lang. (Why? Just because.)
My name is B1, B2.
Papel, gunting, bato! (Paper, scissor, rock!)
(Repeat last if it's a draw.)
This hand clapping game is for two players only. The hand-clap follows the normal hand clapping game but upon saying "Pooh" the right hands of both players should clap while their left hands should clap when "Piccolo" is said. "Jelly fish" would also require them to clap their right hands but this time twice while "Gold fish" need them to clap their clasped palms inside out. The typical hand-clapping game would continue until the "B1" and "B2" where the players are obliged to put their right and left closed fist in their chest, respectively, simultaneously. Uttering "Papel-gunting-bato" entails them to rotate their arms in front and do a Jack-en-Poy, afterwards. Whoever loses from the rock-paper-scissor gets a punishment.
