What happened in e-sports this weekend? Here's the low down...

A lot has happened in e-sports over the weekend and we have the low down on everything you need to know...

DOTA 2:

WESG gave a brilliant performance from some up and coming teams like White rabbit gaming from South Africa to pain gaming from south america, seems the south are catching on! But non the less we saw a very powerful performance from team Russia who took the win in the end against pain gaming to take home $800 000 (2-1).

GESC Was another enteratining set of games for the Dota 2 fans as the Na'vi FNATIC series seemed never ending with constant action, closely followed by the Infamous and EG series which gave us nail biting entertainment. EG would later take the tournament against VGJ.Thunder and secure some DPC Points for them. GG WP!

Counter Strike:

WESG was again a big highlight for some up and coming teams. Team Max from China and Bravado gaming from south Africa gave great performances in the group stages, even though it didn't last long, both teams showed some potential for future tournaments to come. But never the less, it seems FNATIC are the team to beat early this year as they take the finals against space soldiers 2-1 securing $800 000 prize! 

Hearthstone: 

WESG brought some surprises in this sport event as new players seemed to do well in group stages, but the dreams were crushed when the group stages ended. The race was on for the final spot and with some luck and great skills Luker and Fujitora advanced to the finals with Fujitora taking the win 4-2 and the prize of $150 000
