Overview:
Yumerium is a gaming platform based on blockchain technology. It is being introduced by Subdream Studios which in into the gaming industry from 2017. Subdreams aims to solve the limitations of virtual reality and it has developed many games like Galaga fever, Mega overload, Kingdom watcher etc. Yumerium platform rewards the gamers for playing, sharing or reviewing about the games on Yumerium platform. Yumerium directly connects the game developers with gamers thus eliminating the middle man or third party with the help of blockchain technology.
Problem:
The gaming industry is facing a lot of problems due to centralized system. There are high transaction fees due to the presence of third party in gaming industry. It has been also observed that gamers experience frauds when the payment is made through the third party. Hence gamers do not get the required value for their contribution in this sector.
Solution:
Yumerium has worked upon these difficulties faced by gamers and developers and hence came out with very effective solution of “Earn-to-Play”. Yumerium is based on blockchain technology which gives the advantage od decentralization. This prevents the delays in transaction process and removes the middle man. Thus, the gamer directly pays to the game developer and game developer can in turn also reward the gamer.

Yum tokens will be used in Yumerium platform carrying out the transactions. Yumerium platform will reward gamers the yum tokens for attracting more and more gamers into the platform. Cons:
• The whitepaper of this project is not explained in detail.
• There are many similar ICOs who are into gaming industry and rewarding its users in the form of tokens.
• The prototype of this project is yet to be released.
• The advisors appointed for this project do not have a background of blockchain technology. It would have been more helpful for the project if the advisors had a little background of blockchain technology.
