In the episode winds of winter which is the last episode of season 6, Jaime is back at kingslanding and is looking at cerise as she becomes queen so he's still alive but when don't know about his fate in the upcoming season.
Very true. I just thought it would be cool if the Jamie we saw at kingslanding in the last episode was in fact Arya.
