Season 1. Series 9. Baelor

John Snow receives the family sword of the Mormonts from the Lord Commander of the Night Watch, Gior Mormont, as a token of gratitude for saving from the living dead. At the same time, the situation is getting hotter — they sent a severed zombie hand to the Royal Harbor, so that the people would understand that everything in the North is very serious. But after the death of Robert Baratheon, the country is gradually plunged into the chaos of the civil war. The Lannister camp is attacked by the Starkes squad, and the battle lasts all day, but it turned out that these «20 thousand choice warriors» are 2000 sent to death for a distracting maneuver. The very same Robb Stark instantly breaks the army of Jaime, and he himself is taken prisoner. The battle is not shown, the story is silent, but judging by the look of Jaime, there was just a massacre. Khal Drogo paid for his barbarous dullness and the fact that his power is based on personal strength — the wound obtained in the previous duel inflamed, aggravated, and according to Jorah, he had to live a day. Jorah advises Deyeneris to leave urgently, but she calls the witch-healer, whom she saved in the previous series, and she begins to create a dark, forbidden witchcraft. The whole khalasar is tuned against the Deyeneris, but it continues to bend its line. They are still afraid of her, but Drogo's second closest companion pushes her furiously, and she begins to give birth. Jorah kills the Dothraki, clearly showing that the iron armor is better than speed and agility. None of the midwives wants to touch the Deyeneris, and then Jorah brings her into the tent, where the witch heals Drogo. In the King's Landing, Lord Varis tries to persuade Ned to take King Joffrey, promising him that he will be sent to the Night Watch. Ned long struggles between honor and dishonor, and chooses the latter for the sake of his daughters. He is brought to the city square, and he confesses to all in treason and asks the king for mercy. Cersei and Sansa also ask Joffrey for mercy, but he, because of some of his cockroaches, orders to cut off Ned's head. The former Right Hand is executed before the eyes of both daughters (Arya was in the crowd, and he saw her with his last look).

Robb Stark showed himself to be a crafty warlord, and it seems that all his father's vassals will follow him, even though yesterday they considered him to be a spineless boy who released a spy. But this released spy played a crucial role in the victory and captivity of Jaime. Guardian of crossing the river, Lord Walder Frey looks like a mad old man, but most likely he is cunning and on his mind. Drogo is not at all pitiful — someone who bases his power on personal strength will fall very quickly. It's a pity Ned, but he paid for his straightforwardness, intractability and the shame that he put in the end. But the lonelist degenerate Joffrey showed everyone his rotten essence, and what will happen when his origins are revealed to everyone is generally horrible to imagine. In general, one embarrassing movement of a minor degenerate king will plunge the entire state into the chaos of the civil war, and this is no longer illusory.
