Earn less to spend less, you are already oursmart 80% of the world population, folks just can't get materialistic enough to spend their hard earn cash haha. And what, $10 for averagely for a lunch is almost like the double of my lunch budget. By the way, make sure you eat enough, the portion of your lunch looks small to me tho.
yes it's kinda small. seoul is clearly one of the most expensive cities in the world. if you consider income and work hours, then it's absolutely the most inflated city in the world. we work long hours and get stressed out so we're easily triggered to spend money on the dumbest shit possible 😐

If that's true, then Seoul can be a great place for business opportunities as the money spending desire is so strong?
no because companies like samsung, lg, hyundai own everything (even the smallest shit like street food)
smaller companies/individuals have zero opportunities here.
and even if you somehow 'make it', government takes 50% or more.
other than bribery, foreigners have no chance either because government will make your shit illegal.
