PL-11: Hyderabad beat Kolkata by 13 runs: Sunrisers Hyderabad beat Kolkata Knight Riders by 13 runs in the second qualifier match at the Eden Gardens Stadium in the 11th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
The Kolkata team could score only 161 runs in the last 20 overs losing 9 wickets. Hyderabad once again will face the challenge of Chennai. This match will be played on 27th Wankhede Stadium.
Earlier, Hyderabad scored a challenging total of 174 for seven wickets in 20 overs. The team, which won the match, will face Chennai Super Kings in the final on Sunday. For Hyderabad, Rashid Khan played a stern innings of 34 runs in 10 balls, including four sixes and two fours.
For Hyderabad, Riddhiman Saha scored the highest score of 35 runs, for which he faced 27 balls and delivered the ball five times across the boundary. Shikhar Dhawan scored 34 runs in 24 balls with the help of four fours and a six.
Shakib Al Hasan 28 and Deepak Hooda managed to contribute 19 runs. Kuldeep Yadav took two wickets for Kolkata. Piyush Chawla, Sunil Narine and Shivam Mavi got one wicket each.10 defeated, Chennai to be finals
Sports Desk SRH won the match in the second qualifier match between KKR and SRH. With this win of winning the match SRH got the final too. IPL 11 final will be played between Mumbai's Wankhede 27 and Chennai Super Kings and Sunrisers on 27th.
KKR won the toss and decided to bowl. But his decision proved wrong. Hyderabad's Baller Rashid Khan returned to the team. Rashid got two back-to-back wickets. Rashid sent Chris Lynn, Uthappa and Andre Russell to the pavilion. Siddharth Kaul's deadly bowling did not allow Sunrisers to recover. Kaul took 2 wickets.
