I've been away for a week visiting my mother and stepfather, it has been fun but I'm back now. The cats were as always down right adorable if old now, I hope they both stay healthy.
Like I said in my introduction post I do like games, one game I've been playing recently is Atelier Sophie: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Book, 17th game in the Atlier X series.
The game is Japanese made by Gust.
It is a alchemy crafting game when you gather the ingredients for your crafting by going either to a shop to purchase them from the vendors or go out into the wild to gather them or fight monsters hoping they will drop what you are looking for, sort of like the Indie hit Recettear.
The fighting system is honestly so-so, but that isn't what I'm here for in that type of game.
I do really enjoy the alchemy crafting with its puzzling component.
The characters in this game is pretty fine to me as well. I really like both Sophie and Platcha and their companions doesn't irritate me a great deal either.
The translation of the game is also quite ok in my book as well.
