Gambling in video games for children : UK's parliament report

The UK's report on the comission for "immersive and addictive mechanics in video game" just got released.

It states that most of the video game industry executives that were called for a testimony were blatantly lying especially Kerry Hopkins.
She said "we don't call them lootbox but surprise mechanics".

In the same time this companies shamelessly sell to YOUR children worthless in game object for an obscene amount of money, and doing so they get them used (way too early imo) to gambling mechanics.

While this is happening, the ESRB (us) and PEGI (ue),
Which are supposed to defend consumers against predatory behaviors, are blatantly defending the video games editor, this is consterning.
While the European commission regulate everything that moves, they seem to be very long to act in this case...

We all need to boycott monetization in video games
