Empires & Allies was developed by a team of developers headed by Mark Skaggs, who is Vice President of Games at Zynga. Previously he made the very popular game series FarmVille, and before joining Zynga in 2008, he worked on a team that developed the most famous RTS games for PCs and consoles, the Command & Conquer and Lord of the Rings series: Battle for Middle- earth.
The latest mobile version of Empires & Allies is intended to bring back the spirit of playing traditional RTS (Real Time Strategy) games and is specially formulated for tablet and smartphone devices. In this game friends have to build a strong military, ranging from preparing troops, tanks, helicopters to fighter aircraft, and various weapons variations.
Another feature available on the mobile version of Empires & Allies is a feature to connect with friends in social media who also play this game. For those of you who play this game, you can form an alliance and play with other friends by selecting the "allies" feature and using a feature called "Strike Force," which allows friends to assign allies to a certain position to attack.
Despite claiming the game does not have to pay to win, Zynga still use the free-to-play system in this Empires & Allies game, there are items that can be bought with real money.
Empires & Allies can already friends download directly from their Android or iOS device via Google Play Store or iTunes App Store.
