Uncharted 4: The outcome of the thief

is a third-person action-adventure video game, released on May 10, 2016, distributed by Sony Computer Entertainment and developed Naughty Dog exclusively for PlayStation 4.1. It is the sequel to Uncharted 3: Drake's Betrayal, and the fourth installment of the Uncharted series. The video game was confirmed with its first teaser trailer in November 2013 and then was shown on the PlayStation E3 in 2014. In December of the same year, the first gameplay of the game was shown in the PlayStation Experience event; A few months later, at E3 2015, a demonstration of the game was presented.

Synopsis

Chronologically the game takes place four years after Uncharted 3: Drake's betrayal. The retired fortune-hunter Nathan Drake happily lives his life together with his wife Elena Fisher, but everything collapses when his brother Sam appears, the one Nathan thought was dead. Sam needs your help to unmask a historical conspiracy of the famous adventurer pirate Henry Avery and his legendary treasure. In addition, they are not the only ones looking for the treasure, since Rafe Adler, a billionaire and former partner of the Drake brothers while in prison, is also looking for him, with the help of Nadine Ross, the leader of the Shoreline mercenary network. During the trip, Drake will go through suburbs and snow-covered areas, but the main location will be Libertalia, a lost city in Madagascar.

Argument

In the middle of a storm, Nathan Drake drives a boat in the sea next to his brother, Samuel Drake, while they are persecuted by a group of mercenaries. But his attempts to escape are in vain and his boat is shot down by a ship. After this, the story recedes to Nathan's preadolescence, approximately in 1992 when he was living in a Catholic orphanage, showing that his real name is Morgan and not Drake. That same night, Nathan is punished for an altercation with another child. After Sister Catherine's scolding, she remains alone in the room, until her brother Sam appears on the roof of one of the orphanage buildings and signals him with a flashlight. Therefore, Nathan goes out the window, meets Sam and escapes from the orphanage. But he tells Nathan that he must leave the city for a temporary job where he can earn money, telling Nathan that he already knows where his mother's belongings are (after they were sold by his father, who had abandoned them in the orphanage when his mother died) and he will do everything possible to return.
Years later, both are looking for clues about the lost treasure of the legendary pirate Henry Avery. With the help of a corrupt policeman named Vargas, both infiltrate a prison in Panama. Inside they allied with Rafe Adler, a millionaire who also came to prison. Inside, Nate has a fight with Gustavo, a Latin American prisoner. Nate, Sam and Rafe search for clues from Avery's first officer, Joseph Burnes, who was hanged in a nearby area of ​​the prison. Nate finds the cell of the first officer and retrieves a cross of San Dimas, which indicates the next location of the treasure. However, Nathan lies to Vargas and tells him that he has not found anything. He meets Sam and Rafe to examine the cross. The three suppose that, probably, the treasure is in Scotland, since the cross is of San Dimas, and in that country there is a cathedral dedicated to this saint, and they decide to escape. But an altercation with Gustavo and some of his friends makes it difficult for them to escape. Vargas appears and takes the three to his office. Vargas realizes that he has been tricked and tries to negotiate with them to get a share of the profits, but Rafe stabs him after "closing" the deal and the three are forced to flee. Unfortunately, Sam is shot near the exit (apparently dying), but Nate and Rafe manage to escape.
Fifteen years later, Nathan sets aside his adventures as treasure hunters. Now he leads a normal life, working for a marine salvage company and living with his wife Elena. Now Nathan and Sam travel to Hacienda Rossi, in Italy, to meet with Victor Sullivan. After infiltrating the building, the trio notes that the cross is about to be sold to the highest bidder. At that time, Victor and Sam advise Nathan not to continue with the trip and return with his wife. But he returns to lie and embark on the search for treasure. Once in Scotland, the Drake brothers meet the Shoreline mercenaries, which means that Rafe and Nadine are also there. Even so, they manage to reach the cathedral and find an underground passage in the supposed grave of Henry Avery. Once they solve the riddles of the catacombs, the Drakes realize that the treasure is not there. They only get another hint of the treasure through a holographic map, which leads them to Madagascar. The discovery is interrupted when Nadine and her army capture the Drake but, fortunately, manage to escape with Victor. However, once in Madagascar, Nate lies to Elena again telling him that Malaysia's work will take longer than expected. Although she cares a little, Nathan convinces her not to go where he is. Now the trio heads to the dormant volcano of Kings Bay. The problem is that Shoreline is one step ahead. There they find a symbolic map that reveals several possible locations of where the treasure is located. The locations are twelve towers throughout Madagascar. They also discover that Henry Avery, Thomas Tew, and ten other pirates stored all their treasures in one place, so the treasure could be much larger than they think. So Sam, Nate and Sully decide to separate and look for clues in different towers. Nathan and Sully go to a tower near a market, upon entering, they discover a giant clock that had not worked for some time. Nathan takes Avery's sword and fights with Rafe. Rafe takes the sword from Nate and is about to kill Nate; Sam, taking back the knowledge, gives the sword to Nathan and this manages to dodge Rafe's attacks. However, Rafe destroys his sword, but just before being executed, Nate cuts a rope with what was left of his sword, which makes a net with large loads of gold fall on Rafe, killing him on the spot. Although the ship begins to explode by gunpowder (causing its sinking) and the mountain collapses, the Drake manage to escape and escape the island with Elena and Sully.
