Benefits? It's a capital 'NO'. Gambling doesn't have any benefit whatsoever. It may seem sweet and fun when you are winning but the pain and traumas would set in when you start losing. I last gambled late last year when a friend told me he got about 200steem with just 5 steem by rolling dice on a site. I tried it with 5 steem too but I lost. I gained my senses back when I remembered how I lost about $150 in a similar gambling. This one was a pure scam anyways. It's a Bitcoin Miner site. The site promises to double any amount I stake and I was already calculating how I was going to spend the proceeds. In the end, my money disappeared into the thin air leaving no signs to trace. I was down emotional for some days.

It may appear pleasing to the eye at first. Especially, gambling sites that allow you to earn on your first set of bets. They would make sure you lose when you are already engrossed in it and as a result of the previous earnings you tend to stake more until you run bankrupt.

Gambling doesn't benefit the people who gamble, but it does benefit the owners of casinos and online dice games.

Good on you for quiting!
