I plan to keep this post as simple as possible. At the same time i would want you to learn from my story. I have been gambling for a long time but it became serious in the year 2009 when i discovered online betting. Before i was engaged in bettings like dice, what, play station game etc.

But since online better became popular it has been football betting and it became very addictive. I would spend every last money on me on bets. I still did other gambles that i mentioned but it was mostly football betting. It is not that i do not win sometimes but my problem is that i do not know when to quit. And even if i win, i do not use the money to do tangible things as i always think it was a free money so it should also go freely. It was just like air. It blows away easily. Spent most of it on alcohol.

I would take my friends out and we go to have nice time. Then the next day i am broke. When i get little money, i will go straight to a bet9ja shop. Mostly when i loose, i say to myself that i will never go near a bet9ja shop again but it is all a lie. Immediately my mum sends my allowance to me in school then, a bet9ja shop is will i will head to.

What It Has Cost Me

I will share two different occasions that i had to pay dearly for gambling. I have over hundreds of
different occasion but i will like to share two with you.

My mum sent me on an errand to go buy drugs for our pigs. They were due for vaccination. She was waiting for me in the farm and actually told me to hurry. While i was going, i saw a bet9ja shop and i decided to branch and play, lets see if i will win. I intended playing with my own money but when i got there i lost the whole of my own money. It was painful and i thought i could win it back.

I did not know when i started using the money for drugs to place bets. To cut the long story short. I lost all the money to gambling. The money was about #40,000 about $112. The most painful part was that i had no money for transport. I was stuck and did not know what to do. My mum was worried and was calling me several times. I did not know what to do.

I finally decided to pick her call.
