Hmm, yeah I would try using a different pan. It must have to do with the skillet!

hmm that's strange.. I use a cast iron skillet for meat like this. It gets much hotter and never sticks. Maybe its the pan you're using!

Yes I normally brush the skillet with oil prior to cooking. The patty also has some oil in it too, since I make it from scratch
