Boat Rockerz 262 Wireless Earphones Review

If you are a music lover like me and you would probably spend a lot of time listening to songs on your phone. Most of the smartphone's manufacturers provide free earphone with a brand new phone. But the quality of audio and the built quality of the earphone is not that good. Most of the time we end up buying a new earphone.

Both wired and wireless earphone can be useful according to your need.

A wireless earphone has an advantage that you can use it while jogging or working out in the gym. Normal plugin earphone wires are either short or long, and you do not want the earphone wire hanging from your pocket. The wireless earphone disadvantage is that you need to keep charging it.

After some research on the internet, I bought the Boat Rockerz 262 Wireless Bluetooth Earphone.

It comes in two colors, Raging Red and Jazz blue. As the company says it is a sports wireless earphone built keeping in mind of a sports person's needs.

The wireless earphone comes with a nice looking bag with the logo boat, a charger, five extra earbuds, and one manual.

Specifications

Boat Rockerz 262 is powered by Qualcomm CSR 8635 chipset which is built to provide high-quality wireless audio performance as claimed by Qualcomm. It supports the Bluetooth 4.1 version and USB 2.0 with full speed during charging. We tested the Bluetooth range it is really surprising that we were getting connections even from a 50 m distance.

It has a power packed 120 mah li-polymer battery. According to the company, the earphone gives 9 hours of backups, when we tested it is more or less the same.

There are three buttons on the right earplug, one is on and off switch for the Bluetooth and the other two are the volume up down.

As claimed by boat, the wireless earphone is water and sweat proof. I doubt whether it is fully waterproof.

Built quality is just ok. Do not has wow factor. They have tried to give it a premium look to the plastic surface. The wire quality is good and it untangles. They claim that the Boat Rockerz 262 is built for rough use during sports and workout.

 

Specs to look while choosing a Wireless Earphone

High battery back up: it is necessary for every battery operated gadgets. More the hours it lasts, you get enough time to enjoy your music.

Built-in Chipset: Built-in chipset determines the Bluetooth connection, better the processor the audio will be good.

Water Proof: Wireless earphones should be waterproof as we do not care too much about the earphone while using and accidentally may drop it in water.

 

Final Verdict

If you are thinking of buying a medium range price wireless earphone boat Rockerz 262 is one of the best earphones. The earphone really looks cool. The only drawback we found is that there is some noise in the audio quality at high volume.

The voice assistant integrated with the earphone makes everything easy.
