I have no idea if he is or isn't onto something with his webbots scanning for human emotional fixations and their relevance in predicting future outcomes? It is true however that we shape our futures by our intentions & actions, both individually AND collectively.
So ... if our fellow humans mention subjects, fixate emotionally on these in some type of recognizable pattern, and since new ideas spread slowly at first and later snowball as human awareness increases, perhaps aggregating data and sorting through the mess somehow actually can point us in a direction not well seen otherwise.
Predicting the future?
Maybe its only predicting increased likelihood, I can buy that.
But let face it, nothing is carved in stone till it actually occurs.

Still, I really get off on this ! Totally cool.
Too bad its Greg Hunter the Perpetual Dullard interviewing him.
I seriously doubt if Greg can follow much of what Cliff covers.
