Could the future of working just be just around the corner for the crypto aware?

Blockchain, it’s everywhere!

Forget about the overly used ‘word’ for a moment and instead look at how it’s starting to get applied out there.

Then look at the world itself, the news, the impact of coronavirus, hsbc slashing jobs and how that in turn feeds the beast of crypto, more people looking to put in to get some kind of digital lifeline when centralised and everyday people might not be to get into their jobs (better hope the fibre lines and isp’s can build rack mounted robots too then!)

Literally everyone is playing with, some with great success at applying it way past just the little gimmick like this beer can, but that’s ok, it got the message out even if scanning the qr code took me to a un-optimised mobile website — awareness, for now is good too, it’s a word that’s out there that the masses are processing.

This morning I quickly installed fantastic12 a cool little bot that makes a channel on your discord server into the potential of a DAO — it’s way way easier than what I made previously using avalon, what’s smart about this metacartel setup is that it shows us where things could go too and where they are today for those that understanding “signing” and “transacting” with digital wallets.

we really have the wallet extension makers a lot to be thankful for, they really are the bridge to make this stuff easy.

please follow along with @steemcasting, @teamvideo, @teamaudio for updates in the coming months and head over to hivedontmind.com for the links to our hive mind groups — I’m still working on the styling for posts.

The fact that I can run via a discord channel a mini DAO Decentralized autonomous organization with a handful of people (default 12) is super awesome for removing friction in a super fast paced world. It kinda fits to the mantra of the go fast alone or further together — with a DAO the single person can go fast and the team therefore all wins as a group when you have the accounting, billing, distribution of shares, voting and sending tips to each other incredibly easy to manage — not more IM messages to find out that stupid long eth address (they do support ENS address too)

And yes, this is on ethereum and I’m sure you have opinions about that ecosystem and blockchain, like we all have about tron and then tron have about steem.

While we have the great looking https://steemproposals.com interface for the steem dao that was created (we had a hardfork so that rewards could be changed to fund it) it’s really about who you know in the steem ecosystem, you have to lick a lot of ass to get supported on steem and even then you’ll be crosschecked, frisked at the door and made to answer from twenty multiple choice questions about your ‘education’ before you get the funky colour highlighting your name in the discord channel — it’s like IRC but will alcohol involved, trust me, I’ve seen it first hand at steemfest two ;)

So yeah, the steem dao is NEVER gonna work for me. Ever.

But DAO’s that are small, for teams, that are fast and allow you to tender for jobs, which you scale up into your squad — maybe of a designer, video, audio engineer, couple of coders or something could work really well if you all worked on the part you were good at.

At the end you all get a cut of the overall pot and you get paid rapidly using DAI to your wallet of choice, you can do voting on projects together, come to consensus on what projects you accept and even bail out quick if you don’t want to be in the squad anymore — no more middlemen.

Sounds pretty great to me.

I’d love to see a decentralised version of fiverr, skillshare, upwork, udemy and lots more, I really do think that it’s not far away to hook them all up to pretty fairly secure wallets and services where you can even invest your digital holdings, rent out NFTs (digital assets) and just keep the value in the system, floating around, making you more as you work harder to acquire that magic value thing we love so much.

It’s all pretty sweet.
