SFL Previews - Round Four

in #futsal6 years ago (edited)

After a disappointing loss to high flying Cockburn EWA last week, Cambio Cumbre will look to bounce back to winning ways, but it will be no easy feat against the undefeated Stirling "Braza Ginga" Futsal Club.

Key to the match will be La Cumbre's player of the season for 17/18 young Tyler Garner, as he looks to try an lead a rebuilding phase at the club, after losing several quality players in the off season to more lucrative opportunities.

With Coach Wazeem Omar at the helm, as former leader Nestor Fonseca starts to wind down his career, will the likes of Garner, Joon and the young guns like Liam Petley be enough to put up a good fight against the seasoned Stirling side?

Fonseca, 34, still has much to offer the game, but years and years of hard pounding futsal action both here and abroad seem to have taken a toll on the little Colombian, who has not been his spritely self so some time now. This opens the door for Stirlings Victor Brauner, the younger man, to assume control of all things futsal in WA.

Brauner will lead the Ginga to an easy victory at the Pro Futsal centre in Bibra Lake, with the likes of himself, Adriano Martino, Dylan Garac, Ali Khateri and more, one cannot see a seasoned Ginga slipping up at this early stage of the season.
