Semi Final number two for the Men's kicks off straight after the Fremantle Cumbre clash, where one time Series Futsal finalists Stirling Futsal Club take on the Canning Ultra Tigers, who only a month ago found themselves in a relegation battle.

In a remarkable turn of form, Canning rattled off four wins in their last five games to secure an unlikely playoff spot, and now face a Stirling side that they beat in last seasons semi final. The Tigers are sharpening their teeth, with a now fit Yohann Crampon finally showing some of that French flair, in a league once dominated by South Americans.

Other notables for the Tigers include last seasons semi final hero Sam Eastman who showed he has a left peg to turn a game on its head and Colombian playmaker Jairo Achury Bueno who has improved immensely since making the switch to Canning and is an outside chance for league MVP this season.

For Stirling, this time around things look a little different, and in a good way. One of Australia's best in Victor Brauner is finding his way back to form, flanker Alexsandar Kukic is at or close to his peak and the likes of the experienced Stephan Erikkson who has tasted SFA glory in the past with Cambio Cumbre mean that Stirling will take a big edge into this semi final and perhaps will have learned lessons from yesteryear.

A win for either team means they will return the next day to face the loser of the Fremantle vs Cambio Cumbre match for a spot in the grand final. A loss for either team means their dream is over for another season, and while Stirling will head in slight favorites, this is futsal, and anything can happen. This is a massive clash, and one would be surprised to find an empty seat at the Pro Futsal Centre this Friday night.
