Share your travel experience and be a futourist

Travel, most people like it.
More and more people travel for fun, to relax and/or to discover. The tourist can be interested in culture or nature of the visited countries, cities and areas.

Tourism already existed with the Romans, and reserved for the nobility. They visited special buildings, learned new languages and came into contact with new dishes and other cultural expressions. In my opinion explores such as Marco Polo or Columbus are tourists as well.

Statistics shows (source: Statista) in the last 10 year a high grows of world tourism. In 2016, it was estimated that the number of international tourist arrivals worldwide would reach approximately 1.24 billion. The prediction is international tourist arrivals are expected to exceed 1.8 billion by 2030.
The travel preparation is sometimes stressful and challenging. After you decided where to go, you gather as much information as possible to have an idea about the travel and destinations.

Traditional travel agencies may help. But nowadays the internet and social media became more and more useful to gather information.

Too much uncategorised information and worries about the reliability?
Specialised content solve these issues for travellers. The answer is the use of specific websites (e.g. Tripadvisor, Zoover). Facilitate the experience of sharing travel experience.
I like these websites, very attractive and high value. A great community. In the past I wrote reviews about travel, hotels, restaurants and tips.

Recently I realised this is really BIG BIG BUSINESS. Turnout to be big businesses.
Tripadvisor and in Europe Holidaycheckgroup are large organisations, stock rated, hundreds of employees and high profits.
Wait a minute !
The business model is based on the travellers free content. In return worthless bonus points (for example TripCollective). I have a nice rank 
Start your own travel blog
Have you always wanted to go on a journey of discovery and earn money for sharing travel information? An alternative is starting your own blog hosting.
I quote the goatsontheroad.com, about the travel blog opportunity:
“Once established, your travel blog itself may earn $3,000 – $5,000 / month, but if you’ve broadened your horizons and started working on other income streams like freelance writing, content creation, social media management and consulting services, you can double or triple this figure.”
Realise this is for the happy few, you need to take it serious. Travel, create content, host a server and find sponsors to earn money.

The traveller empowered

Technology and innovation plays a huge role in the travel world.
Disruption takes place, I refer to TripAdvisor and AirBNB.
The logic next step in the travel reviews is Futourist (https://futourist.io/).
What a great idea to become the decentralised travel blog.
Facilitate the tourist who is willing to share travel experience. Make a platform available, without a middle-man. The traveller is rewarded for the effort. Both in points and coins!
It’s like steemit, but real focus on travel platform.
More effort, higher rank, more coins.

What a brilliant idea!
