The furnace tear down and move.

So this furnace was constructed on location in Zimmerman, Minnesota USA in the year 1996. The current location was a salvage yard of 50 years. The current owners were three brothers who had inherited the property. The owner of the furnace was another gentleman who leased a small space to operate. I ended up purchasing the furnace operation with the condition that it had to be removed.

The first major task was removal of the stack.

After the stack was removed the furnace was pulled out into the open and was fitted with a set of heavy duty dumpster rollers.

With that finished it was time for some help. A phone call to Qwickway and and a short meeting at both ends of this job, I was given a thumbs up and the help I needed. The crew showed up as scheduled and the move was underway.

Three men, three rigs, and a very big forklift, this was like child's play.
