RE: Presenting! The Green Thing I Made
Hola, @nonameslefttouse
I like what you say about the superiority of creators to $$$. To paraphrase Shelley 'artists are the unacknowledged legislators of the world".
Also, by association I think of Churchill's quip when asked to cut the Art's budget to provide for the war: Then, what are we fighting for?
Enjoyed your studies in gem-like green (&red). Now, off to bed...
Hello hello.
Of course the creators are more important. This place doesn't exist without them. Just like when I was big boss man taking care of a large staff. That place was nothing without the staff. I needed to make damn sure they were happy. If they were busy kissing my ass and not getting anything done, the place falls apart. This is all common sense, but we both know common sense isn't so common these days. Thanks for noticing I said that, and actually understanding the meaning.
Have a good one!
What is true in the microcosm of Steemit is more so in the macro ... It is creators who must speak truth to power & recognize that those with vision & ideas hold the true power - not the public servants who bully us or money men who throw their weight around... Okay, rant over 🤐
That was the most peaceful rant I've ever read. If I was to rant about something right now, it would involve telling minnows to get a brain, stop acting like sycophants, start noticing each other, so they could then stop complaining about how nobody is looking at their work. Thousands of minnows focus on one established member and then expect that one established member to focus on those thousands of minnows. It's easy to point the finger at those at the top, but it's not them, in most cases, not seeing value in the minnows. The minnows seem to think they're worthless so they treat each other accordingly, not knowing that minnows swim in schools. They act like a fish out of water and blame everyone else for how they ended up in the boat. Okay, rant over.
