This is why no one says no.

Every day there seems to be a new report of someone in movies or television abusing their power. One of the obviously questions is, "Why don't the victims simply say 'no'"?

Well first of all, that is the problem with abusing power. The people who do it, choose victims who they feel simply cannot say "no". In addition, when it happens enough, people see it as an expected behavior. It is still scummy but if it happens all the time, people can be tricked into thinking it is normal.

Then there is this.

I wonder who this poor guy said "no" to in order to get this shit job.

Yeah this was a joke, but scumbags abusing their power isn't. You can't stop a behavior if it remains hidden.
