Hawaiian Emergency Management Officials Not Sure How Cameras Work.

in #funny7 years ago

Back in July, The Boston Herald interviewed Hawaii Emergency Management Agency’s current operations officer, Jeffrey Wong. While they interviewed him, they did this strange thing called "taking a photograph". Clearly Wong was caught off guard.

Apparently Wong, who is taxed with managing emergencies, did not understand that when someone "takes a photograph" of you, it also captures images of your surroundings.

Normally, this phenomenon does not cause any problems. Every once in a while you might catch some inappropriate behavior in the background or an embarrassing pile of dirty underwear or something. Unfortunately, when you have such an important job, the background can be slightly more important than just preventing a mere photo bomb.

In that July interview, the camera captured this image.

So what's the big deal?

There is no porn on those monitors (miraculously).

No coworkers are making out or doing drugs.

No passwords for incredibly important Emergency Management Officials' accounts are visible.

Wait!!!!

Look again!

Yep. That is a password alright.

Good luck managing this emergency.
