RE: Presenting! The Green Thing I Made

in #funny7 years ago

"So I learned my lesson there. Never name something after a seasonal event because I might want to show that off in July too."

Wisest words ever written in the history of steemit. Dude, we are so much alike after all. I mean it! About the same age, always creatively "angry," never lose our sense of "wacky" humor (even when they ruin our lives), we love video games and we appear to have the same "bad habits" too. Plus, I am sure you love the 90's too (if you don't then you have a problem, dude....I mean one more problem lol).

Believe it or not, I had named my dog (1995-2011 R.I.P. my golden friend) after Scrooge, because that damn dog was so stingy with food. He denied to eat. Whenever I met a woman and she was like "Oh, such a nice doggie" what's his name? I was like "Scrooge." They were like why? I was like, "It's my favorite X-Mas Story." They were all gone after that. Not sure if it was the seasonal name or that they probably were thinking that for him to name his dog after someone like Scrooge, he's probably stingy as fuck! Huh?

Bromance!

LOL!

You're a good guy, I'll give you that one.

I did, like, a post about the 90's, like, where every few words, like, I'd add the word like, like, because that's like how they used to talk. People liked it. I still like to play Super Nintendo, sometimes.

Name the next dog, Rich.

LOL!!!!!!Bromance at its best I would say! You are kinda kinky, aren't ya? I think you started to like me after I told you my Greco-French porn accent. Didn't you? ADMIT IT, dammit :P

I will name my new dog "Steemit." It's a do or die name after all, isn't it? I will either get laid or get slapped the fock out with such dog name ha ha! (In Greek it sounds even nastier).

PS. Btw, especially dedicated to you, buddy! Conde Nast was stupid enough to pay me nearly $2,5k (the most money I ever made as a writer with just one article to this day). It took me 6 months of meticulous researching, constant rejecting and tons of hours of editing and re-editing. It really wasn't easy to be published by those folks!

Man, do you have to make this weirder than it already is? HA! I was going to one up that but I changed my mind.

When you published that, I was at a lake, probably just waking up and setting out on a kayak. No internet, no video games, no tv, nothing. Guess how much I earned... nothing. Was a good weekend. If I give this a bit more time, I think one of my old fart jokes might be enough to buy a used Ferrari... or maybe just a Mazda. Hold on to that money. Anyway, that was a good read. I gotta go. Have a good one.
