What are the Blockchains that based on Smart Contract?
When you look at the crypto currencies which based on Smart Contracts, sometimes you might get confused. Obviously there are large number of Crypto Currencies are offering Smart Contracts now a days. Therefore, I decided to share few of them which purely build on Smart Contract case study as follows:
- Ethereum (ETH) - The first open software platform based on blockchain technology that enables developers to build and deploy decentralized applications.
- Ethereum Classic (ETC) - Formed as a result of a hardfork in the Ethereum blockchain.
- NEO (NEO) - Called as Chinese Ethereum.
- Stratis (STRAT) - Supports C# compatible with the Microsoft .Net framework.
- Lisk (LSK) - Introduced the concept of 'Side Chain' paired with an SDK. Based on JavaScript.
- EOS (EOS) - Claimed as the most powerful infrastructure for decentralized applications.
- Ark (ARK) - Supports multiple programming languages.
- Qtum (QTUM) - A hybrid blockchain platform that allows building DApps for mobile devices.
- Cardano (ADA) - Fully open source so the source code is made available for use or modification as users or other developers see fit.
- NEM (XEM) - Claimed that they can offer “a fundamentally streamlined method of maintaining a secure ledger of transactions compared to a traditional database”.
- IOTA (MIOTA) - Presents a new generation distributed ledger protocol (Tangle) that is designed to support transactions between machines and devices on the Internet of Things.
- TRON (TRX) - Intends to improve on Ethereum’s shortcomings relating to scalability, speed, and usability.
- IOST (IOST) - Designed to offer a solid infrastructure for all online service providers.
