Sibling Love Is Teasing
For those of you who have siblings will know that to tease is to love... The love siblings you have the more you will be "Loved".
So firstly I grew up in a house with 6 of my 7 siblings. So over the many, many years I have received an amount of sibling "love" that would leave me scarred and with enough stories to write a book.
Anyone who has ever scared someone into jumping or screaming or even running away will know the joy of doing that to a sibling and still making fun of them for it years later.
Of course the best stories I have do not involve me at all. This is how my dad nearly got arrested because of my older brother and my sister...
Jan had a way of setting the bar high when it got to getting in trouble. I would like to say that most of it was the fault of my sister but to be honest she is probably the only reason anyone ever found out. This made her even more susceptible to his teasing. The one thing he loved to do most of all was watch her run and scream in terror through the house. He did this quite often because she is to this day incredibly easy to scare.
The way he did it was a little too far though. He would grab a knife or scissor and tell her that he was going to kill her. Leaving her screaming bloody murder through the house while he stood laughing in the kitchen. This happened often and my parents became deaf to the screams of Theresa. It was on one of these nights that Theresa ran screaming but instead of keeping to the house she ran outside. The neighbors were mortified and called the cops thinking that my dad was abusing my mom and was going to kill her.
The cops arrived and rang the door bell. My dad answered surprised to see them (This is South Africa, the cops takes some time to get to you and my sister at this point was back in the house). The cops asked my dad where my mom was to which he answered that she was in the bedroom. They insisted that they needed to see my mom so my dad went to call her. She came to the door and the cops asked her in front of my dad if he was hurting her. She started laughing and told them no. They then seriously looked at her and told her to give them a sign if he was hurting her. This time my mom got serious and told them that he never laid a hand on her.
At this point my brother decided that my sister hasn't screamed enough for the day and decided to scare her one last time. She ran screaming past the door while the officers were watching and saw my brother running after her (without a weapon) laughing. The immediately apologized to my dad asked my parents to keep the noise down and left.
Here are a few parks siblings pulled on each other. Some went well, others... not so much
Till next time

Oh the joy of siblings.
The whole I'm gonna kill you with a knife thing was too far, but at least you all have this great story to share now!
Thanks for the laugh.
I used to scare my little sister by sneaking up behind her and screaming there is a thief in the house. Every time it worked. she would bolt out of the kitchen running towards my parents at lightning speed screaming. I would like to think i'm the reason why she's good at running. All is fair in sibling scares. my older sister tried the same thing with me (the im going to kill you scare) but with a needle. I was more scared of the needle and just looked at her as if she was insane. obviously her attempt failed and i still laugh about that to this day
I really don't hope my kids start in with that stuff!
Good luck with that.
Thanks!
