Does it matter it I just include reps from my gym workout, those air squats killed my legs the other day. At 125 kgs I can't do the same two exersises each day, need to rotate

If they are squats and push-ups from your gym workout, 50/50 or 100 total, yes please count them of course. Correction - those air squats helped your legs grow the other day! Pain = gain!
