Did the Grinch Steal Steemit Christmas?

in #funny8 years ago

Hey Steemit, I'm Scam Alert! I am here to tell you a very sad Christmas tale. It seems the Grinch has come back to visit Steemville once again. So what kind of mischief did he get into this time?

4 months ago @venuspcs made a post claiming he bought steem.gifts and he received $3,075.95 for the project in post rewards.

This website was going to be used for a secret santa database for Steemit, but now, 4 months later and only a week before Christmas, the site is not up. Well, it's up in the fact that it's up for sale for $200.

Where has he gone?

Well we know he was logged in a week ago to start powering down..

But should we be concerned? He hasn't written or commented on any of his own articles in months!

I hope I am wrong but it seems the Steemit community has been swindled by another user claiming to put up helpful services. To end this on a positive note however all we need for Christmas is each other. And the only gift we really need is that which Jesus provided for us on the cross. God bless you and have a wonderful Christmas, Steemit!
