'This is Going to hurt' experiences
My experience was also playing football.
The ball was kicked from goalkeepers hands into the air, I'm standing underneath on a very sunny day and I thought ' I've got to guess where this is because I can't not make an effort to header it '.
As it came down I saw I was not lined up very accurately as I could not see the ball In the sun until it was about 30cm from my face and I thought ' This is going to hurt'.
Yes the ball smashed me right in the face. OUCH.

I was playing football at school on a congested playground. At the exact moment I turned my head a ball from another game hit me square in the face. Blood was streaming like a tap from my nose and I actually got concussion and had to go to the walk in centre. Not quite a 'this is going to hurt' moment, but still damn painful
