My Steemit Experience: Dream vs. Reality
What I actually thought about getting from Steemit was totally different from what I got in reality. So here is how it is for me:
Dream
• Getting rich in no time. Buy a brand new Mercedes-Benz and have my own Villa with a swimming pool.
• Earn $100 a post and 50,000 followers behind my back.
• Be a Whale and brag about it to my friends
• Start my own escort agency from the money I got from Steemit
Reality
• Still dreaming and whining over the success of whales. Listening from other people that I am worthless.
• Earn $0 post but paying 20 cents electricity bills for writing every post. It shows I have 195 followers but only 6 of them are active members. Others are either dead or a bot.
• Still a minnow who is thinking to quit and leave the platform.When a friend ask:
“Hey,is it true dude you are in Steemit”?
I reply:
“Don’t pay attention to rumor .I have many other important things to do in my real life. Why would I be writing for a lame website like that??”
• Looking at the nasty videos of internet for getting off my frustration about Steemit.
You really are a great writer. I bet you will become a successful player here. Maybe it will take a little time as earning steem and standing out in the crowd are becoming challenging tasks day by day. Atleast think that you are interacting with a lot many people all across the world and even making some of them your friends!
