RE: Dying for more followers?

in #funny7 years ago (edited)

An incredible show of stupidity. I feel bad for the two children. The parents are an example of the way society has been damaged by this desire people have to gain recognition from internet followers, a desire that trumps their responsibilities to their own children. Actually, I'm more pissed than sad. People have warped their minds into thinking this is acceptable. If he lived, would that be okay to some people? People with these immature ideas of goals and "success" have no business having children.

Edit: I read more of brilliant details in this case. "Their 3-year-old daughter was also in the room watching, police said." The book was shot from one foot away. He believed it would stop the bullet because he had previously shot a book, and the bullet did not go through that one. Did he compare the distance at which each book was shot, the depth of each book, the material of the covers and the pages? I don't really have to ask that, do I? Honestly, it's probably a good thing this happened, so that the children can be raised by people with more sense. These seem like the kind of gun owners that leave their guns out and unlocked, so their children can shoot themselves or someone else.

Sort:

Have a child watch mom pointing a gun at dad? Even if nothing would've happened, it would still have been seriously wrong on so many levels?
