Did you ever watch Hook? "Oh there you are, Peter." Haha, this was awesome. And people are just incredibly stupid for not being here telling you that all day. But then I was absolutely positive I was about to have my fourth complete bust in a row and had to eat some crow, now I'm a poet who didn't know it. Lol. Fuzzywuzzy was a was, I think that is a perfect code for I am "not" high right now. And I'm 'bout to go click those links.
Nobody is stupid. This is just another post that got overlooked. That usually happens when I spend a lot of time putting them together. Once again there are many hours behind the art. Not many of the artists here pop in to say much about my work. I feel excluded from that crowd. If I leave a comment somewhere, I get the "thanks for commenting" response. If I go to the chat, nobody talks to me. LOL. They're not stupid, they just don't like me. This sort of thing has followed me around my entire life. I'm used to it.

That site won't help me much if people don't view my articles here. I'm trying to make my lower quality offerings available there with a link to my articles here. The articles here have the higher quality links which are private. I was hoping that would help Steemit gain a few members.
I know that image did well there. Views are very important to find success. Steemit members don't view articles. I'm not sure I feel like being responsible for drawing more digital artists here so they can be let down as well. I'd like to see the place succeed, but this is a two way street.
I know what you mean, this place is a bit of a rollercoaster actually. Or a casino, or a little of both. One minute you feel high from a post that did well then you get passed by, and especially when it's one or several you value more highly yourself, and it brings you low. I'm working on a way of getting around that feeling. For example I think, well I've written five chapters so far and an intro, all together that has made just under fifty bucks, so that would translate, particularly as a new author, into selling about sixteen e-books, entire books not just the chapters, so really can I complain? Because at the end of this I can take the book and publish it elsewhere. Same for you, some of your articles do awesome, you had one the other day that was what, thirty five dollars? Granted if you were famous then it wouldn't be a lot maybe, but for starting out? Art is hard to make money from, my father painted his whole life and the most he ever made was 450.00 off a piece, and the runner up wasn't half of that I don't think.
This is a picture of a very old picture of that painting, done in pastel I think, I watched him spend hours and hours maybe even a few days on it, the same with so many of his others. But he did not have the perserverence for it, he made his career being a nurse administrator and sidelined his passion, so I guess we'll never know what he could have been. But it would've taken sticking it out through rough patches, I know that much:
I have no issues with getting through the rough times. I've no issues seeing how some don't have to ride the rollercoaster either. Guaranteed pay, no matter what they produce. Doesn't matter which day or what time. When I see I've earned a decent reward, I keep making the mistake of thinking I'm on the same rollercoaster as them, so I put more effort into my next posts and get skunked. Then I release a short shit post, which would normally earn many others sometimes hundreds...I'll get a few cents. Then I know where I stand...and start all over again. I shouldn't even talk though. People write this sort of talk off as whining, when clearly, I'm not, they just don't have to deal with what majority of the people here deal with.
